Description

***1947 CHEVY COUPE MODIFIED STOCK CAR RAT ROD STREET ROD 350 4-SPEED***
***STREET DRIVEN --- BUILT LIKE AN OLD MODIFIED STOCK CAR***

This is a 1947 Chevy coupe that a buddy asked me to list. He built the car to look like a modified stock car from the 60s. He drove it to some shows and cruise-ins last year. He wants to move on to other projects. Ten inches were sectioned out of the body and it was channeled onto a 1988 Chevy S10 frame. The steering, front suspension and steering are from the S10. The rearend is from a 1990 Oldsmobile. Engine is a 2002 Chevy Vortec 350 that has been overhauled. It has new gaskets and seals, oil pump, performance cam and kit. The intake is Edelbrock with a 650 double pumper Holley. The headers were built for this car and have baffles in the side pipes. Transmission is a GM 4-speed. The lights and turn signals work. Body is a flat black accented with 8-inch wide red wheels. The car comes with two hoods, pictured below. The decals are magnets and can be removed; they have been removed in some of the photos. Interior has Chevelle bucket seats and 4-point harnesses. The crotch harness goes with the sale of the car along with a vintage flag helmet. Email any question and if you'd like to see the car email for the owner's phone number.
