Up for sale is a 1969 Chevy Camaro, this garage kept beauty has been totally restored with many new parts. I have had this car for over 13 years, bought it out of Texas in 2004 and started my project.
I started by taking the body off the frame, blasting it down and repainting it.I put new shocks,A -arms, sway bars, brake lines, repainted the engine bay etc. Did a front disc brake conversion and put new drums on the rear. I then replaced the factory 307 engine with a freshly rebuilt 454 big block. This BB was built locally here in Birmingham by a very respected shop. It has a mild cam, Corvette heads, full roller rocker arms, 750 Demon carb, Ron Davis radiator, new everything! I also attached a newly rebuilt TH-400 transmission and long tube headers with stainless Magna Flow exhaust, tubes end behind the doors and are cut teardrop shaped and turned down-the car sounds like a hot rod should. The chassis is rolling on 17" American Racing Hoopsters. The motor and tranny have less than 2000 miles on them since the rebuild was completed - I only drive this car on weekends and to car shows etc.
The interior was next. I had new carpet, front seats, headliner, door panels put in. New middle console with sports comp gauges, tach, Pioneer radio and 6x9 back speakers added as well.
Finally, in 2013, I addressed the body. I had the floor pans, trunk pan and quarters replaced to make sure this car was rust free. I also replaced the vinyl top, then had the whole thing painted true red with black stripes...3 coats of clear. So, from top to bottom, inside and out, this beauty has been restored. This is a numbers matching car- although I have made several upgrades, I still have the factory 307 motor and TH-350 transmission. They are included with the car and it could be made original again if you want- you just have to arrange shipping/pick up. I also have 2 brand new back tires for this car, all included with a satisfactory sale.
I am attaching a YouTube link below for your enjoyment. Check it out for a 360 look at this Camaro and be able to hear that 454/Magna flow sing. I don’t need to sell this car, so no low ball offers please. Nor do I need help selling her. I would consider a trade, along with some $..as I am looking for my next classic- a 1950-53 Chevy pickup. If you have any questions about the car or need any more info, please call/text me205.242.4751. This car is for sale locally as well and auction may end early…don’t miss out on this one.
