Description

1971 Chevy Chevelle Malibu, sat for years and revived. New battery, new fuel pump. 350 2 barrel, 350 automatic, 10 bolt rear. Engine sounds good but smokes a little. Exhaust donut is out. Transmission lot drives but have not had it on the road. Brakes work but need to be pumped. Power steering works. Car does not have AC. Fuel guage still works. Annoying door buzzer still works. Car was undercoated when new. See the underside pictures. Where the undercoat has come off, nice solid shiny metal underneath. Floors are very good. Frame is good. Trunk pan and extensions are mainly good. There are a couple very small holes at the very rear edge of the trunk pan. See photos. Body needs lower quarters, fenders and trunk lid. Doors, hood and trunk all open and shut like new with nice even gaps. Top of car is painted. Not vinyl. There are a couple small dents in the top. Glass is all good but the front windshield. Chrome on the car is very good. Wheelwell trim and rocker moldings may need replaced. Wheels are complete but tires are old and cracked. Two have very slow leaks. Interior needs to be completely redone. Dash cracked, seat torn, back good, no headliner, no package tray. There is rust above the sunvisors. Here's the things I can tell are missing, original radio, drivers front wheelwell molding, and drivers rear interior quarter panel. No trunk lock assembly. No spare tire. Do have the jack, tire iron, sunvisors, heat riser tube from the manifold to the air cleaner. I also have the original protectoplate but not in very good shape but you can read the original owners name. One owner car not that it matters since it needs restored. Car starts runs and lot drives. It will drive on the trailer. I have not drove it on the road. Car is sold as is with no warranty as a restoration project. Car can be viewed anytime by appointment. Local pickup only. Car must be paid for within 7 days of auction end. Pickup of the vehicle within 30 days of auction end is negotiable. Thanks for looking.
