Description

Started the frame off restoration in 2008, car was completely disassembled. Frame and undercarriage parts were media blasted and painted black with chassis saver. All new brakes, suspension, emblems, trim, lights, glass. .... All parts were NOS when available. New tires mounted on reconditioned wheels that are date stamped from that era. Original tilt/teli steering column had been completely rebuilt and rekeyed. NOS speedometer (0-160) with odometer that reads 1.5 miles. New aftermarket radiator.
Motor was built by a company that use to build for Nascar. It has never run other than on the dino, It's a 408 stroker that puts out just under 500hp and just over 500lbs torque. It will also include the original matching numbers 350ci. The original transmission was completely rebuilt by Ace Racing Transmissions. Hooker headers & sidepipes. Assembly line build manual is also included.
This car was built for show and no expense spared, probably close to $50,000 invested. I wasn't happy with the first paintjob (I'm that picky!) so had it all redone and added the front & rear spoilers as well as bullet mirrors.
All work was done by professionals and the car is mint from top to bottom!! Not one spec of rust anywhere! It does however need interior and wiring. I have the gauge clusters, seat frames and pretty sure the original wiring harness as well as original parts that were replaced with exception to glass. Motor has been fogged and car has been stored covered in a heated garage since it came home from the paint shop in 2010.
My only reason for selling is because finishing it never seems to be a priority. I have very limited garage space so I've been very hesitant about working on the interior myself. At this point I'd prefer the cash to remodel my home of 22 years.
All the expensive work has been done and it would be a great car for a father and son to complete.
