Description

this 67 chevelle you see listed here is a rare and unusual car.it was assembled and remained in california for the first 42 years, the last 8 in n.c.it still carries with it the original black license plates that were issued to it in 67.and also means its a no rust car.ive been all over it and i cant find any repairs of rust.it is a numbers matching car with the 327-275 h.p.engine.unique and odd color combination, capri cream with gold deluxe interior.original a/c,first year of smog system.and extremely high optioned...back to the body, since its not a rusty rebuild like alot of chevelles of this era,it still retains all of its born with sheetmetal.like rockers,trunk,floors,fenders,ect.....all 4 T-3 headlights are there.all glass is good.all trim and stainless is extremely nice or either been replaced.car has only had one re-paint.and it is nice.it does have its typical blemish & dings, but they are so minut,a digital camera cant pick them up.all doors open & shut like a new 67.all body gaps are tight and consistent.i did mention also that this is a air conditioned car,and it does work. an expensive $ 371.00 option alone! the old push button radio has been up-graded to a retro look am-fm ($438.00)...this chevelle has an unusual list of options and its long......28 in all .they are as follow:
AO1-tinted glass G76-3:36 rear gear N96-mag style full wheel covers
A39-deluxe seat belts J50-power brakes PW8-red line tires
A82 -headrest J52-disc brakes U14-special instrumentation
A90-power trunk release L30-327-275 h.p. U03-tri-volume horns
B84-body side moulding M38-automatic transmission U25-trunk light
B93-door edge guards N10-dual exhaust U26-under hood light
C08-vynil top N33-tilt wheel U63-push button radio
C10-opti-clean bottle N34-wood wheel V31-front bumper guard
C60-air conditioing N40-power steering V32-rear bumper guard
986965-tissue dispenser
this car runs & drives like a new 67 chevelle.it should, based on the cars condition, its 134,000 miles is correct.vehicles in this condition are getting harder & harder to find.mainly because people are keeping them now and not letting them go.i dont like using the word "restored"why?,because so many people use it loosely describing their car & not knowing what it really means.but this car has had about everything done to it that you can do.it is in remarkable condition.it has been flawlessly detailed to the highest standards throughout, top to bottom.look good at the pictures, underneath is as clean as the interior & under the hood area.
as far as average price values go for chevelles in this condition, the CPI black book is the one that alot of the major classic car auctions use.CPI doesnt use a catagory "1" classification.they only list catagory "2"&"3" classifications.(class "1" are usually saved for un-touched originals, nos restored, and 1,000 point class judging cars).this car definately falls under the "2" catagory.in the current book it has this car at $39,000.that does not factor in highly optioned,or a/c....a/c will demand a 10% to 20% adjustment even to those figures.the reserve is alot lower than that.these figures are based on actual sales from auctions & individual transactions.please do not ask the reserve or to do a buy it now.its not fair for everyone that wants to bid.
im a dealer dba hathcock auto sales & restoration.....i dont sell junk,so what you see is what you get.as like all vehicles this age,if your bidding, your accepting it as-is,no warranty expressed or implied.if you have to get permission from someone else to to bid or purchase, then get that before hand.im not going to wait on a loan or an appraisal to come thru.please only bid if you already have the funds on hand to go thru with transaction.this not only wastes the run time, but someone elses chance on getting a vehicle that they want.there is no deposit....."BUT ", within 3 days of auction close, full payment will be required! if thats not acceptable, car will be offered to next highest bidder!i have to do this because sometimes im not always available daily for several days to week at a time.im firm on my terms.i have to be like this because of a few bad apples.....do your due diligence before bidding.understand sometimes used and older vehicles this age have faults of their own, seen and un-fore seen.some things could exist that are or were not known by past or present sellers or buyers.all facts, statements or speculations listed here are based on opinion.upon winning bid you acknowledge you have read and understand the info stated here.you also relieve the seller blameless of information contained or omitted....you have to list this kind of stuff.some people will think your responsible for knowing or should know the whole life of a car since it was new?,which i don't.............
i have a good friend that works as a dispatcher for a major transport co.he can usually get vehicles moved most anywhere for around .040 to .060 cents a mile...thats cheap....................................this is a real nice car. i know whoever ends up getting it should be well pleased.
