1970 chevelle ss 496 stroker
Description
Well, it truly saddens me to have to sell this one but for personal reasons, its time. This is my 1970 Chevelle true SS, If you're looking for a flashback or just a powerful muscle car, this is the one you have been waiting for and its got a cool 70's theme. It's one of the most powerful, turn key cars I have owned, has been very well taken care of and not beat. Beautiful Fantom Blue base coat/clear coat paint and straight as an arrow bodywork. All original panels, trunk, and floor. Doors close solid and lines are nice. The power plant is a hell of a beast, 496 "Blueprint" stroker crate engine topped with a 750 quickfuel carb.. It was originally a 396 SS. Original motor was replaced with the 496 from Summit Racing. Professionally built Turbo 400 transmission, and 12 bolt posi-trac with 373 gearing. Interior is in excellent condition. Brakes are all in perfect condition and with hydro boost master cylinder this thing stops on a dime. The wheels are classic Cragar SS with 275 bfg's on back. Exhaust is stainless welded with factory tips and sounds amazing. Cowl induction does work. This car was not built by a hobbyist and I have a stack of receipts to show everything was professionally done. Factory amp gauge quit working but there is a secondary set of gauges mounted under dash. All lights, horn, and signals work as should. Out of my collection this car is the one that always gets the attention. Power steering and tilt wheel. All new Belstein shocks, springs, component and body bushings have all been replaced this Chevelle feels firm and drives straight. No build sheet but there is a "L" on the cowl tag. It is actually very reliable and starts up easy as it should. If you have less than one feedback I will cancel your bid unless you notify me. I am a Chevelle enthusiast and have good references to all the cars I have sold in the past. Thanks for looking and good luck! I have a video on youtube i am trying to add it.
