1963 Chevy C50 LCF w/ Brownie auxiliary transmission/winch
Description
I found this truck on the prairies of eastern Montana and thought it had potential for someone to use. My goal was to get the truck running and driving. I have only got the truck running and it seems to run fine. The truck has a straight 6 inline motor (I'm not sure which size). I installed new electric fuel pump, master cylinder, and slave cylinder. The drive shaft just spins going into rear differential. It is a vacuum 2 speed. I'm not sure what is wrong but possibly it is a bad axle or shifter fork. The doors open and close nicely, windows roll up and down, floors are solid, inner fenders are very good, and headlights work. There is rust at the bottom of the driver's door inside. The A pole block that was on this truck put a small hole in the roof of the cab which measures approximately1/2 inch by 2 inches. There is a rust hole at the top of the windshield as pictured. There is some rust bubbling by sun visor in the cab and small holes at the base of the windshield. Rear tires are okay and front tires are weather checked. Reserve price is approximately the value of the Brownie overdrive transmission. I don't have the time to devote to getting this truck driving.
