1957 Chevy "210" Hardtop
Description
Here is a "210" hardtop model 1037. The VIN # starts with VB57A. Paint code is 793A-Black and trim is 654-Ivory and Black. The car has been dressed up with Belair trim. The motor runs great and the car is drivable, but it needs electrical work to be street legal. Most of the lights, gages and accessories do not work. Has a late 80's "350" motor. The motor has center bolt valve covers and a Vortec GM aluminum manifold with Edelbrock4 bbl carb. Has a later model 3 speed synchronized transmissionwith Hurst shifter. The dash is complete. Has a very nice windshield with no cracks or wiper marks. The back glass is very nice with no cracks. The side glass is all good and clear with no cracks. Has the correct front seat that has been cut out for the shifter. Has the correct cardboards for the doors and above the rear arm rest, but has no upholstery. The car does have some Bondo at the fender bottoms. The door bottoms look good, but there is some Bondo on the skins. Has rust on the floor braces and inner rockers. The front floor has had pans put in, but the rear floor needs pans. The trunk floor has rust holes. The trunk lid is badly rusted in the rear by the hinges. It still opens and latches ok butshould be replaced.All the stainless trim and bumpers are driver quality. Has 14" Cragar wheels that are in very good condition. The paint joblooks good from a distance but up close you can see flaws. If you are looking for a car you can drive and upgrade at your own pace this could be for you. The start price is low and there is no reserve.
