Description

Factory Bel Air, Blue/White Ext, Blue Int, Comes w/2 V-8 Engines, Complete sweet running 350 4 Bolt Main Chevy & 427 V-8 Short Block, Newer Dual Exhaust, 5 Speed, Ford 9" Rear, Upgraded Front Disc Brakes, Aluminum wheels, Solid, Originally Rare 585 Code Factory Onyx Black aka *American Graffiti.

You are bidding on a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Sedan (1011D) that has great potential. I purchased it to make an American Graffiti tribute car. I was driving it until this past cruise season ended then pulled the running 4 bolt main 350 engine to install a 427 motor I heard running strong when I purchased it to put in this car. My plan was to repaint it back to factory Onyx Black a tribute to American Graffiti. (*this car is a rarely found 585 Onyx Black factory car). Have you been searching for a 1955 Bel Air? For your consideration.

The Details;

Overall solid straight body. Driver two tone blue & white paint decent from 10 ft. My plan was to repaint it back its original 585 Onyx Black making it a tribute American Graffiti car (will def up the value). The trim is pretty decent on the car. Lots of good chrome prior owner replaced. Glass is good intact. It has Slotted Aluminum wheels with radial tires (she rolls). The Blue interior is original I never touched it even the headliner I think looks cool. Frame is straight & solid, floors are most original one small patch on drivers side floor look decent, trunk floor and rear shock towers see pix are okay. The engine compartment is ready for either motor to go right back in.

The Mechanics; Comes with a good running complete 1970 350 V-8 (010 Casting 4 bolt main) also included a 427 4 bolt main 4th gen(short block only) that was running good when I purchased it last fall. When i pulled the 350 out last fall the car ran & drove nice a tight car. Comes with 5 speed manual Transmission & drive shaft is intact, dual exhaust, upgraded front disc brakes with Ford rear-end, new shocks coils up front more. *The Don Garlets tachometer shown in pix is not included in the sale.
