If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to me,Rich on my cell (480) 284-9697 or email me at Rustspeedshop@gmail.comanytime day or night…….I welcome any questions and I’m happy to answer them.

This 1970 C10 w/ ’68 front clip is an Arizona truck that has received a Restomod finish. These areas include:

Drivetrain

  • New Create 350 CID motor with under 4200 miles (9VP)
  • New Holly 850 Carb
  • New Turbo 350 (TH350) automatic transmission (14S104050)
  • New serpentine belt drive with all accessories including AC & Power Steering
  • New 4 core radiator with 14” fans and temp sensing relays
  • New AC system with condenser, compressor, lines, hoses, cooler and under dash kit
  • Existing exhaust with 2 ½ inch pipingand Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Ran out back with chrome long tips
  • New K&N air filter with 2” spacer
  • New alternator, battery, cables, wiring, master cylinder, the list goes on and on
  • Chevy 12 bolt rear end with 3.07 gears and chrome cover (14.43gm)
  • Additionally the truck received many new small parts under the hood such as M/T valve covers, transmission cooler, fuel pump, gas pressure gauge, painted radiator core support, painted wheel tubs, under hood painted to match truck with matching radiator cover painted to match truck, taped/loomed and tied all wires, dual horns and the list go on

This truck has been driven to multiple local and out of state venues. One trip was up to Lake Havasu City in Arizona and one trip to San Diego California for a C10 show.

Suspension / Frame / Brakes / Wheels

  • New 2 ½ drop spindles, drop springs and drop shocks in front by CPP
  • New front outer tie rods and upper ball joints
  • New Disc Breaks in front with rear drums
  • New rear drop springs, new drop shocks with relocation brackets and hardware by CPP
  • New LMC Gas tank relocated to rear of truck with new sending unit and dash gauge reader plug / ground wire
  • New Wheels and tires with less than 100 miles on them. They are Ridler 20x9.5 in rear & 20x8.5 in front. The rear tires are spaced out with 1 ¼ billet spacers

The frame of this truck was cleaned and painted Chassis POF Black front to rear. The frame is very clean and ready to drive in rain or shine with no worries of rust or corrosion build up. The truck also comes with all the original parts that were taken off. If some day you want to put the truck back at stock ride height, you will have the spindles, springs and old air shocks. They are all in great working condition. In 8-10 years I personally think the truck will need new body bushings (cab only) and depending on how many miles you drive it a year. After say 20-25k miles the lower ball joints should be replaced. At that time I would also do the inner tie rods.

Exterior

  • Complete Cut & Buff detail on trucks paint (Paint is nearing 5 years old)
  • Paint is a Hummer Red
  • Some air brushing was done to hit some of the nicks around rear wheels and rocker areas
  • Super straight body with no bondo or rust (two small areas were repaired on floor boards near the bottom of the kick panels)
  • New mirrors
  • New front, side and vent window glass
  • Newer handles (show minor wear)
  • Newer front and rear bumpers (show minor wear)
  • New front, rear and side marker lights
  • New front grille, trim rings, bezels and hardware
  • New front hood and side Chevy emblems
  • New Wood Bed Kit with chrome strips and hardware
  • ( Wood Bed is completely sanded and stained with 4 coats of polyurethane on top and bottom
  • New Wipers with working washer fluid tank
  • New Rhino lining with color matched paint on top of lining
  • New rear wheel tubs painted to match truck with new bolts
  • New rear LED bulbs
  • Truck does have the bumper/radiator deflector
  • Tailgate functions as it should

The Paint on this truck shows very well as you can see by looking at the pictures. It’s a beautiful paint job that was done right and has been holding up very well. There is still plenty of material (clear coat) for another cut & buff - down the road. There are a few imperfections in the paint from driving it over time….like, a few chips under by the rockers (that have been air brushed- then wet sanded and buffed/polished/waxed) and a couple other marks in other areas. Gaps are all correct. Doors shut correctly. Cab lines up with the bed as it should. Nothing sags. Trim is all even as it should be.
