1981 Corvette L81, 383 Stroker, Newer paint.
Description
For sale today we have my 1981 Corvette. I bought this car from the original owner back in 2007 with around 30,00 miles on it. This Corvette was originally born in Bowling Green, Kentucky and came with a 350 2 bolt main small block. I replaced that with a 4 bolt main 383 stroker motor with 202 cast heads and roller rockers. The motor currently has 26,000 miles on it and runs great. The transmission was rebuilt in 2010 along with the rear u-joints. The brakes are like new with new rear calipers. The battery and alternator are about two years old. The tires are about 6 years old and still have great life with over half of the tread depth left. The radiator was replaced in 2012. mechanically the car is sounds and runs great. Everything works as it should including the power seats, windows, cruise, lights(go up and down as they should), etc. The a/c is completely intact, but is in need of a charge. The body on this car is nice and straight and has never been in any accidents. It was repainted about 6 years ago and still looks great with only a couple minor imperfections(one stone chip on the passenger side where the quarter panel meets the door on top.) I would the rate the paint on this car to an 8/10 being modest. The interior on this car is still factory and is very presentable with normal wear. I would rate the interior on this car to 7/10. As stated before the car looks, runs, and drives great. I have taken this car on several large trips and it has always been very dependable. If your looking for a very nice/turn key Corvette you can drive anywhere, this is the one for you.
