1964 Chevrolet c10 shortbed " Big Back Window"
Description
This is a custom shortbed fleet side big back window truck. The goal for this truck was to keep it as original looking as possible and let the body tell it's own story. Truck was taken off frame and all new suspension was added. It was converted to power steering and disc brakes via a late model front end. It is 5 lug in the front. Then out back it was dropped 5 inches using new Springs and the rear end freshened up. It gets its power from a rebuilt sbc 350 with a small cam backed by a 700r4 tranny. Edelbrock intake and carb along with MSD ignition was used. Motor sounds and runs real strong. It will run at 190 degrees all day whether your cruising or just highway driving. The exhaust was put in using all new tubing and new glass pack mufflers. New floor pans, cab corners, and rockers were installed before the truck was then cleaned and scuffed before a satin clear coat was applied. All new glass and weatherstripping was added and windows work properly. Inside was then replaced with a new stock seat cover. The dash, roof, and door panels was all sanded and painted. New carpet and dynamat insulation was added. The heat works really well for the cold winter days. All gauges work as well. The bed was replaced with custom poplar that was stained and cleared with 6 coats of automotive clear and new stainless strips were added. Everything mechanically is new on this truck. This is one awesome truck with the hard to find shortbed and big back window. Feel free to ask any questions. For sale locally as well.
