OK, here's the story. I live in Thompson CT but have a Winter Condo in Florida. This year a friend of mine from Delaware overheard that I had just bought a 69 SS/RS Camaro as a new "toy" for myself & he told me HE owned one too. As we talked more, I found out his is a 1967 BASE MODEL car that he'd like to sell. It's a 327 -2bbl car, 210 Hsp & a floor console mounted automatic. He bought the car BRAND NEW in 67 & has ALL the original paperwork with it. He has EVERY service record with the car for ANY maintenance, oil changes, tranny flush, wiper blade changes, you name it, he HAS it. ORIGINAL dealer bill of sale too cuz they didn't do "window stickers" back then. It has NEVER BEEN HACKED or altered other than a radio change and he HAS the original radio. Other than that, it's AS IT CAME from the factory. It's the Gold that was popular back then with a black vinyl roof and black interior. It HAS power steering but NO power brakes. NO AC and not a lot of extras. Just a CLEAN, ONE ORIGINAL OWNER car with 103,000 ORIGINAL miles on it. He claims that he hasn't put 2,000 miles on it since 1985 and it has gone untouched in the last 5 years. He loves the car for the sentimental value of it, but just understands that SOMEONE should do SOMETHING more with the car. He HAS come to grips that he's going to sell it. I'm going to help him sell the car since GREAT guy that he IS, he just doesn't know a lot about HOW to even sell a car like this & has NO computer savvy AT ALL. It's a straight and NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT car. He said he only remembers doing some "minor" paint touch up work over the years but also ADMITS that there ARE some "door dings" and things like that on the car currently. He ALWAYS garaged the car and still has it garaged. This is a ONE OWNER COLLECTORS ITEM CAR and WILL get transferred DIRECTLY FROM HIM TO......THE NEW owner so the successful buyer WILL be the second owner of the car since 1967.......50+ years ago. There is NO rot present on the car, period. The vinyl roof is in good original shape. I'm not sure of the originality of the tires but they have great tread left and DO come with the original full hubcaps. Everyone says it, but this IS A FIND!!!! NEVER MOLESTED, ORIGINAL car from the ORIGINAL OWNER. Also, this guy is NOT a "motor-head”. He NEVER was interested in beating on the car or EVER racing it. It was just his high school gift to himself at the time and Camaro's were brand new in 67. The car HAS had a transport company consigned to ship the car TO Thompson as we speak. So if you have ANY INTEREST in this car, email me and I'll get a dialog going with you. Condition I can tell you IS impeccable for a 50+ year old ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED car. As for the $$$, he's not sure where he needs to be to part with it, so I told him I would get him any "offers" as they came in. He IS willing to "negotiate”. He hasn't moved it in 5+ years, but did tell me just now that he's going to need "good money" for it in order for him to part with it. Don't know what that means, but this IS the car you've waited for. NOTHING will get done with this before around April 20th or so (the expected delivery date) unless the car's shipment date gets moved up but don't delay.

LOW LOW RESERVE is set @ $24,999.00 so don't ask. If the car doesn't bring at LEAST that.....he's not selling it (just told me).

also.....YES......ALL #'s matching EVERYthing. NOTHING changed from OEM stock & he has ALL slips of what he DID do to it. Lastly, I'm DRIVING from FL to CT April 12th - 16th so communication during that time MAY be "sporadic" but I'll TRY my best.
