For Sale: 1967 Chevy El Camino. 396/402 Engine from 1972 El Camino SS. TH400 Transmission. 8,000 miles on Engine since stock rebuild.Runs Great,Shifts tight, Runs cool at all times. New Temp/Volts/Oil pressure under dash guage set. Many new parts-New Drive Shaft, U joints, Bearings, Brakes all re-done last year, Drums turned, hardware,Shoes, Lines etc. New Engine mounts, Trans mount, Original Rochester Quadrajet carb professionally rebuilt (no" Frankenstein" carb from a bin of parts). New radiator, New Battery, New Starter, New Headers/shorty muffler-resonator exhaust. Super Nice aluminum mag wheels and tires. New HD Chrome single wire Alternator. Sway bar links, Truck starts right up, drives smooth, stops straight, New Paint- Torch Red and White SS Stripes.Base coat and 3 coats of clear. Pictures include shots of truck before paint to show how clean it was before paint, Was nearly rust free body. Bed is super solid, All Chrome, grill, bumpers bed trim is excellent . Jams, Tailgate, Doors close tight with one finger, hinges 100%. Original Bench Seat, original carpet, All lights, turn signals, Wipers wor, New Cowl induction Hood, (original can come with car if you want. ). Floor pans have had some rust cut out and new metal put in (front flat low spots. where your feet would rest). Included are both sides new quality full floor pans if you wanted to go all the way to show quality. (no problem as is. ) Frame is Excellent all around except under driver side door (as pictured), Drain holes must have become clogged and moisture collected in there over the years. The top and inner wall of this area is fine, as is the entire passenger side and all gussets and engine mount areas, so it has been driven as is for some time, no problem unless you want a show truck, then patch that area. New fuel pump . Newer Gas Tank, Dash is un cut and very nice, All Glass is original and good. New Heater core and hoses included. (Never winter driven, so never put in. ) Blower untested. adjustment levers stuck. This is a top shelf daily driver, Everyone loves the look and sound of this truck. Really could be a show truck with very minimal effort. Has early 1970's Kraco Am Fm Cassette in dash. I do not have door key, Passenger window track could use adjusting, Window goes up and down half way then sticks, window rubber sweeps are original rubber and brittle.
