Schroeder Motors is proud to offer this extremely rare genuine Chevy K10 4x4 Short Step Side for sale.

This was a GSV (Government Service Vehicle) US Navy - We have the Original Dog Tag Data Key's pictured.

The Truck has a smooth running, powerful and healthy 283 V8.

The Engine Bay is Clean & Simple. No Power Brakes or Steering,...but it stops great and is easy to steer with the skinny tires.

It tracks nicely down the road, likes 60 to 65 mph,...anything above that might be pushin' it harder than I'd feel comfortable with,....they were never designed to drive 75 down the highway.

There is no heat soak, was a hot steamy day here in St. Louis (time of pictures),...I moved the truck around to several places, always fired up with the flick of the key.

In & Out of Gears easy,...even Granny low is smooth and easy. Great Clutch feel....nice steering,...just a great K10 4x4 that's ready for the Farm or Downtown on a Saturday Night.

I'd drive this thing anywhere,....It will make it.

The Exterior.

I like the color,'s really interesting. Under Clouds, looks flat...Sunshine,....the metalic shines brightly.

Notice the color difference on the drivers side,...It's not that far off to have to repaint it, kind of gives it some character....

Otherwise,...and even so,'s a GREAT lookin' Rig.

The truck sits square on the road,'s very balanced and stands tall,...faults and all.

The chrome is nice,..the grill insert is terrific,...the mirrors are too.

The wood floor is sweet,...high gloss,...nice shape.

The hub-caps are as good as the rest of the brightwork,....all sparkle beautifully.

The Interior.

Nice and well tailored in here,...some great looks at the vintage Decals, monikers & plates of operation. I tend to think they are originals,...nobody would Re-Pop those I wouldn't think. Anyway,...original or not,...they're there and in nice shape.

The seat sits well,...the cab is clean...Radio Non-Op.

The Undercarriage.

Some work has been done to the drivers side floor,...and the inner & outer rockers. Quality repairs, should hold up as it's been line coated to protect. Otherwise,..nice frame and nice underneath no matter where you look. There are several photos to see the work and how nice it turned out.

In Closing.

Well,...I love the truck for all the right reasons, drives terrific,'s smooth in all drive characteristics and it's got a very different look that everybody just lights up on.....every passer-by looksof course, if you buy it, will have to give up some level of privacy....unless you tint the windows.

This is a High Quality Driver,..that shows very well and drives just the same.

Theres something about this truck that casts a totally Cool Vibe....hope you see it too.
