Description

I've owned this car for 25 years. It was finished about 12 years ago and only has 460 miles on it. The motor is supposed to be the original and is a 265 cu in V-8. It was a dual four motor, extremely rare, FG suffix code. I put three two's on it because I like the look. Had it machine shop built with everything new inside including a 30 30 Duntov solid lifter cam. The trans is a M-21 Muncie 4sp with Chevelle bench seat linkage and it doesn't hit the seat. Rearend is a 66 Nova 10 bolt. It is narrower than the 56 stocker and allowed bigger tires and deeper reversed wheels. Springs are in the stock position. Disc brakes in the front with dropped spindles. Air ride front and rear with electric switches and 3/8's lines. Chrome Americans 20's and 18's. They do not rub. Inside: Has all new C.A.R.S. correct reproduction black and white Belair interior including headliner. I added electric windows. Dakota Digital dash including clock. I chromed the brake and clutch pedals as well as all the throttle linkage and complete heater assembly.Body: I can't say enough about how great this body is. I am the pickiest guy on earth about the straightness of sheetmetal and the quality of paint and this car is a perfect example of how good it can be. All black, all gaps perfect. Everything rechromed, new tail light assemblies, all stainless polished and I mean all. The body was just a shell when painted. There are no body panel replacements or floor pans either. This was a really nice car that had a good life. Stored most of it. This is one of the best 56's you could ever hope to find. You are welcome to call me for more info. at 503-703-6601
