Description

1963 monza 900, the entire drive train has been completely upgraded to the later model higher horsepower rebuilt 164 engine and transmissio, no leaks, carbs have been recondition, fuel tank cleaned and resealed, heat deleted and completely sealed off from cabin.Suspension and braking system has been upgraded using new later model corvair and porshe 914 components. It sits about 1" lower in front & 1.5" in rear than original stance. Tires and hubcaps are new. comes with the original caps also. The rocker panel stripes are vinyl and can be easily removed and are very recent so wont be any color variation if removed. All gauges and lights. even the under dash valet lights, driver and passenger side, in working condition, all wiring has been replaced. car drives great, steering is at least as easy as modern power steering. It has seat belts front and rear and an upgraded stereo system. I liked the look of the original working am radio so that is why digital am-fm installed in glove compartment, local drive-ins signal in fm, unfortunately we just couldn't find anywhere to put upgraded speakers that we wouldn't have to change the original look so made decision to install in rear seating area, metal cut and bent back so can be returned to original if desired by simply bending it back and recovering with new vinyl. Its the only part of the all new interior from carpet to door panels that isn't how the vehicle was originally. The top has multiple small cuts and cloudy rear window and takes two to put up from shrinkage over the years, but if you need it, in a pinch it would do, it just wasn't a place I chose to put my resources as we never drive it around on any "less than beautiful" days. Vehicle has been kept indoor, with cover included with sale. The body is in excellent rust free condition and the 1 year only original classic color of autumn gold paint, while i wouldn't call it show quality, is really beautiful but does have some chips and some hard to find light scratches. I included some close up pics. All restoration work on it has been done in the last few years, but please don't consider it a fully restored show quality vehicle, it is not. I'm sure i'm forgetting some things that have been done. Any questions please call me, i would be happy to email or text any other close up pics as i maxed out the pics allowed, 817 986 1182 . THE LEGAL STUFF: car is sold as a used vehicle and sold in as is condition, no warranty implied. inspections before bidding encouraged. this is a no reserve auction and will be sold to final bidder so please bid responsibly. the vehicle will be for sale this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway so I reserve right to end auction if an acceptable offer is made.
