Description

First-year, first-generation Monte Carlo muscle car. Daily driver. Very powerful. Most resto guts completed (including all the time & cost -- see the list below!).

BODY: Body is solid & in great shape...especially for the '70's era (hard to find in this nice condition).

Floor pans & trunk pans great. Paint job older, but no universal surface rust. Small spots of rust on hood (see pics) & some bubbling along the roof support (see pics). Great candidate for quick & easy full resto, but looks nice and runs strong right now, so just drive it for years to come until you get around to turning it into a show car. All locks use one key. (Occasionally driver door lock needs key turned twice to unlock.) Newly reupholstered seat covers done just 2 years ago from OPG. New floor carpet kit & headliner done at the same time. Door panels in great shape and original. Dash original & in nice condition with one cracked area behind tach. Tilt steering wheel. All glass original and in excellent condition with no cracks/chips; tinted windows. Integrated kickpanel front Kenwood speakers & CD player. Newer heater core (defrosts & heats well). Windshield wiper motor replaced about 20k mi ago.

MECHANICAL: Great, really strong. Drive it everyday & would take it anywhere.

350 4-bolt main GM crate motor (with less than 30k miles; installed about 1-1/2 years ago by professional tech and no problems in that time). Aluminum pulleys. Edelbrock performance intake. 600 cm Holley carb with electric choke. Long tube headers & dual exhaust. 700-R4 overdrive transmission with shift kit and 2300 stall converter. 20k mi.ago: new rear springs, bushings in 4-link, 200lb air shocks, front upper bushings and upper & lower ball joints installed. 12-bolt rear axle has posi-tru-track 3:73 gear ratio rear with Mosser axles. Brakes redone with wheel cylinders, hoses, pads, booster and master cylinder. New fuel tank & straps.

NO... it doesn't have air conditioning, isn't an SS model, don't have motor swap paperwork, not a matching VIN/motor #, don't have original motor block or transmission. Will include the TH350 driveshaft.
