GREAT DRIVING SHOP TRUCK, VERY MINIMAL RUST, LOTS OF RESTORATION DONE! This is the truck everyone seems to be after. Unmolested and uncut original frame, period correct drivetrain, and very minimal rust. Take a look at the pictures, video, and details below:
Cosmetic
  • Paint/Body: Overall a very straight body, top of cab is rust free with solid drip rails. Hood, fenders, and doors are all straight and rust free too. Cab corners have some rust underneath and interior. Drivers step up has rust on the c-channel. Paint is driver quality and consistent from bumper to bumper. Looks really good even 5ft away!
  • Interior: Newly painted interior shows real nice. Uncut dash looks sharp with original stainless panels. Gauges have been refurbished and all work except for the gas gauge (likely a sending unit issue). Original seat base is present but newer seat has been mounted on top, in good condition with no rips or tears. Brand new factory correct rubber mat.
  • Glass/Windows: Windshield and rear glass and weatherstripping are brand new. Drivers door glass is in good original condition. Drivers vent glass and passenger vent and door glass are original and cracked.
  • Trunk: Brand new tailgate. Bedwood is pressure treated fence slats. Old original wood is underneath.
  • Undercarriage: Uncut and rust free original frame rails. Original floor pans are also rust free and in excellent condition.
  • Wheels/Tires: Rally wheels with newer tires and beauty rings.
Mechanical
  • Drivetrain: 235 engine starts easily and runs strong. No muffler on new exhaust pipe actually sounds really strong. Clutch feels good and the gears shift easily. I did notice a slight squeaking sound for a few seconds and not sure if its the flywheel or what (see video). upgraded to a 12V alternator. The truck drives easily and steers nice and straight.
  • Lights/Electrical: New electric windshield motor and new blades and wipers. All lights and turn signals work properly. Dash lights work too!
  • Brakes: Brakes are original drums and stop straight and strong.
This is a great truck to enjoy as is, or do little projects to keep bringing it up. Watch the video then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
