1969 Chevrolet chevelle project most new parts! 1 1969 Malibu + 1 1968 SS donor
Description
You are looking at a heck of a project here. We purchased this car about 3 years ago and immediately started disassembly. The car was running when I bought it. It had a rebuilt 350 motor in it with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. The car has the "normal" rust patches on it, over the rear wheel well, bottom of front fenders, etc. it was actually in pretty good condition though so we decided to take it on. I ordered the patch panels it needed, quarter panels, rear radio tray and fender bottoms. The floorboards in the car are actually good! About 6 months into the project, I got a '68 model SS body and frame as a donor car that goes with it!
The only thing at all that I know isn't with the car right now as it sits is a rear end. I was going to replace the factory 12 bolt anyway so I went ahead and traded it off. Other than that, here is a short list of parts and items I have already purchased or found for the car:*the pictures you see of a fully assembled 69 above are the original pics I took of the car when I first bought it. The car is fully disassembled now, down to a bare frame. The frame is in great shape and is primed in Etchlok primer. The driver side tubular arms and disc brake has been put on but the passenger side hasn't yet. You'll see that in the pics also.*new disc brakes, calipers and lines, front and rear. (Ordered new)*new tubular control arms front and racing antisway adjustables for rear*new metal. Quarter panel, fender, fender patch panel, radio panel, and more*complete bolt and screw kit for frame to body panels.*new 4core radiator*new brake lines and gas lines, unbent.*all kinds of new small parts like motor mounts, bolts, etc. The list of new parts is just too extensive and I can't remember it all. The plan was to have all of the investment completed and parts here, THEN start building back up with all new stainless bolts, screws, lines and clips.*all new brake booster, lines, everything to install disc brakes all the way around ($2000 new)
There is easily over 15k invested the way it sits. The left quarter is cut out and nearly ready for the new quarter panel to be welded on. We didn't get to any welding yet but we were going to butt weld everything. Again, you will get both cars! A complete car (in earlier pics, blue) and the donor SS car (body on frame). I have a lot of the receipts for new parts. Be sure to have enough trailer or shipper to get two bodies and two frames with extra doors, hoods, fenders and parts! You'll get nearly enough parts to build two cars!
Please ask any questions you may have and you are responsible for shipping, pick up in Crossville Tennessee. Remember, you're getting 2 Chevelles, all the parts taken off of said Chevelles and all the new body parts and new aftermarket parts I bought! There's nearly enough stuff to build two cars but the 68 SS is bad rusted out. The frames pretty good but it still has some donor parts you could use. The only thing you'll need is a rearend, everything I have from a SS steering wheel to all new and used parts goes! Thanks!
