Description

Up for bid is my 1965 Chevrolet C10. It is a long box with a 350 and a four on the floor. Brakes are good, and steering is pretty decent, though neither are power. It has some bumps and bruises, but overall she's pretty solid. The lower rear portion of the front fenders are both pretty gone, but if you know these trucks it's pretty common. The floors are pretty solid, I took a picture of a close up of the driver side floor and that's the worst of it. The motor seems to have been a rebuild and let sit deal. I did the carb and tank, new master and whatnot to get it drivable. Runs great, but smokes...I figure seals are the issue. I was going to do an LS swap and lower it, leaving it looking just like this. I live out of town a bit, and thought it would be a nice shop/ ranch truck. Too many trucks, too little time!

What history I know about the truck is pretty minimal. I got it from a cattle rancher about 20 miles down the road...and yes, there were bales of alfalfa involved in some horse trading. That gentleman had got it from another rancher, a 'Nam vet that had owned it for a long time. He had apparently done the motor, but life and time interferes with all our best laid plans. It sat beneath a carport for a, " couple years". I figure this thing sat in the lean-too for a decade or more, but time flies.

Shipping is on the winner. I can keep it here on the property for a reasonable amount of time while arrangements are made. Just keep me in the loop. I can also help out getting it to places easily accessible for large haulers. (i.e. No dirt roads or backing down three miles of single lane washboard)
