Light Blue Chevy 1500 W/T - 74k miles, great condition, only two owners
Description
Hi - I'm selling my 1992 Chevy 1500 W/T. This truck has low miles and is in very good condition. This was my grandpa's truck and it has been well taken care of by both of us. I recently got another vehicle and unfortunately don't have room to store this one. It was in Wisconsin for one summer but other than that has only been in Tennessee and Oklahoma. As you can see from the pictures there is very little rust. The odometer works and the listed mileage is accurate. This truck has never been in any type of accident.
Here are the most recent service records with the mileage if available. This list is not exhaustive, just what I remember doing recently or have receipts for:
- August 2008 - new spark plugs, belts, air filter
- October 2009 - 40987 - new fuel pump and filter
- August 2011 - new exhaust (tailpipe and muffler)
- March 2012 - 48150 - synthetic oil change, AC service (retrofit from R12 to R134A - still working and cold)
- March 2013 - new distributor cap and rotor
- June 2013 - 54904 - oil change, new wiper board and connector, brake fluid flush/replaced
- March 2014 - 59956 - synthetic oil change, replaced brake hose
- April 2014 - 60337 - steering column replaced, passenger window glass replaced, kill switch installed (somebody broke the window and tried to hot-wire it)
- October 2015 - 67106 - new clutch master cylinder, new tires
- March 2016 - 68995 - synthetic oil change, brake fluid flush/replaced
Issues with the truck: there is some cracking on the dashboard, and the headliner is sagging. The last time it was in the shop the mechanic mentioned that the axle seals coming out of the rear hub are seeping. The clutch pickup feels different when the truck has been running for an extended period of time. I had this looked at and the brake fluid flushed and the mechanic did not find any issues. It still drives just fine.
The stereo installed is a SonyCDX-GT54UIW and is included with the sale. There is also a kill switch I had put in. Other than those two things the rest of the truck is stock.
The title is clear. You are welcome to test drive and/or get the vehicle inspected at your expenseprior to completing the sale (I will need a copy of your driver's license before a test drive). You can pick up the vehicle or arrange for shipping at your expense.
There is a $2,000 reserve on the auction. If you have any questions or want more pictures/info send me a message and I'll be happy to respond. Thanks for looking!
