This 1960 Chevrolet Impala Two Door Hardtop is located near Ennis, Texas. A divorce forced the sale of this car to a friend & client of mine. A lot of time, money, and beers went into the build of this Impala Bubbletop. This car was originally red on red & was restored in Tuxedo Black approximately 5 years ago. The paint and body are in very good condition. All of the rare stainless is intact & the glass is in good shape front to back. The 348 engine was professionally rebuilt about 2 years ago and few miles have been logged since. This car has great equipment ; power brakes, power steering, and Rochester triple carburetors. Enjoy the presentation and feel free to email me through Ebay or give me a call with any questions. This is a private owned automobile I am representing for the owner. Questions are welcomed. I've been helping folks sell their classic cars since 2005. - Samspace81 Ebay & YouTube - View my 100% positive customer feedback and bid with 100% confidence. Thank you - Sam 972-748-6389.
The upholstery is clean and correct front to back. This car was born with red & white cloth & vinyl upholstery. The door panels, and headliner are in good shape. The dash is clean and intact with the correct brightwork and gauges. This is an ex air conditioning car, the vents are in place. With some work underhood, I.E. heater box, compressor, condensor, lines, etc, it could be converted back to A/C. The upholstery was restored approximately 2 years ago according to the private owner.
This car has an excellent stance to it. Again all of the rare stainless is intact. A professional polish of the chromework & stainless would help bring this car to another level. The doors could use some final adjustment as well. This car was driven very little since its restoration was completed. It is unfortunately the casualty of a divorce.
Professionally Rebuilt 348 V8 enigine with Tri-Power Carburetion. This was originally a 250HP 4bbl. V8, now upgraded with period-correct triple Rochester carburetors & the correct breather assembly. This car is also equipped with factory power brakes & factory power steering. The firewall, inner fenders, & core support sheetmetal is in excellent condition. I also want to note the underbody is clean and in very good condition. This car was a frame-up restoration. I did not have access to a vehicle lift, more photos are available on request. On my inspection, I did not note any holes or repairs underneath. The suspension has been previously rebuilt and frame looks straight and solid front to back.
Originally a red car, it was repainted in Tuxedo Black. The interior has always been red. The W8 code could possibly mean 348 engine?
The trunk and inner quarter panels are solid.
