Description

**No reserve auction
This is a 1967 Chevrolet Impala convertible that came factory equipped with a 396 V8 with a turbo 400 transmission. This drivetrain is now long gone. It does still have its optional 12 bolt rear end. The vehicle still has most of its air condition components, compressor, and pulleys etc. It also still has its optional power steering, power brakes, tilt steering column, and tissue dispenser.
The convertible top header and bows are nice and it still has its convertible rear seat and arm rest panels. The car's frame is straight and is not rusted through. The steering wheel is nice and is the first unrestored steering wheel that I have seen in a while that is not cracked somewhere.
The car's outer body looks like hell and external body damage is pictured. It was taken off the road and stored in a tractor barn in the 1970's. Some of the body parts are missing. Missing panels include the driver's door, fender, hood and grill panels. These parts can be replaced from the more common sedan donor cars. The convertible stuff is all here along with the other parts already mentioned (12 bolt, A/C, tilt, p/s, p/b etc.)
The Impala convertible can be restored with more common sedan parts oruse it as a parts car.
