1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Frame Off Restoration,Over $80K-N-it,L@@K,56,57,Felix Top
Description
Up for Auction is 1955 Bel Air that has gone trough a Frame Off Restoration with only one purpose in mind, that was to build a perfect Bel Air. This Chevy has had no expense spared, no shortcuts, and no budget. There is over $60,000 inreceipts just in "PARTS" alone. This does not include the labor for the build. Which is a huge cost, think about it.Everything it takes to restore a car from tearing the car down, sandblasting, tows, body work, metal work, paint, assembly, polishing, chrome plating, mechanica, exhaust and so on and so on. That has to be another $30k at least. There is around $100,000 into this car and it shows, AllReceipts will be includedwith the car. This does not include Labor, only parts and the purchase of the car. AllReceipts will be included with the car.Body and Paint- Base Coat/Clear Coat; Color is Tuxedo Black/ India Ivory. Basecoat and clear coat were done in the top of Line materials all the way through. The chevy was removed from the frame, and the body and framed were sandblasted andcompletely restored. The body and metal work was done by a very known car builder in the area.Of course again no expense was spared.Interior- The color combo is from a 56 Bel Air Pattern and are two toned Charcoal & Ivory. The kit was all bought from CARS. which isamerican made and to exact factory specs.Carpet is Daytona Weave which is also a upgraded carpet. The Radio looks like a factory AM radio but its really a aftermarket that flips from AM to FM by using the knob. It also has two 6x9's in the back package tray. If you look at the photos and really pay attention to every little detail you will see that everything is perfect inside.Even look down along the fire wall, it was covered. The entire dash was restored and has new and factory parts. All new parts are to factory spec on this car. If you see specs on the black dash in thephotos its just dust and will wipe off. It was missed when I took the photos and Iapologize.Motor-Completely taken apart and rebuilt 8cylinder 265 out of a 1956 Bel Air with a 4bb stock Rochester Carb also rebuilt.
Exhaust-The exhaust is all new and from a company in florida that reproduces the exact bends size. the under body is just as clean as the rest of the car. I will be getting photos of it soon along with logging all thereceipts into a folder. The exhaust still has the stickers on it.Tires- Coker American classic radials made in a bias ply mold.
Wiring- All factory and all new from American auto wire. Upgraded fuse panel that fuses everything in the car. Every switch; dimmer switch, light switch, ignition, heater, brakes and so on all new or rebuilt. Just likeeverything else.
This car is perfect inevery way possible. I may have not includedeverythingthat was done in my add, in fact I know Ididn't include it in mydescription, but this is notbecause it was not rebuilt or replaced its just Ican't list every single part that was replaced or rebuilt in my add. It would be a book not a add.The car is like new, better then new I think. It was all replaced or rebuilt. Every bolt, every switch, its all new or restored. One important note; the specs on the dash in the photos is just dust thats all. Then license plate topper Felix is not arepo its original and was NOS when it was put on(still wrapped). This car was not built by a car dealer or with making a profit in mind. It was built out of passion for cars and passion foranitques. The car Won First Place the Jackson County Rod and Custom Show in 2016. The show contains cars from SanFransisco To Seattle. This Car is as new as it gets. Pleasejust look at the photos. Also If it meansanything this car was not washed or detailed prior totaking the photos. This is how the car is stored all the time.
