One evening while coming home, I got caught in a bad thunderstorm on the interstate. I spun out, ended up going backwards at 70 mph. This caused some diaper rash underneath the trunk and also chipped the right headlight cover. I put new tires on the back shortly thereafter. This car is 39" high at the top of the Lexan windshield, which I am trying to replace due to polishing swirls. I will also supply a spare and a good tire for the rear. Some heavy (Lakeside) mufflers go with this car. This car corners nice and travels well on the interstate. It is really fun to drive. It shifts kind of tight as I had to revise the linkage due to engine set back. I bought this kid from Chuck Beck in S. California in 2002 I hauled it to Tennessee in the back of a pick up truck. I worked on it for 20 months. The only reason I am selling this vehicle is I want something with a good rag top.
