I amreducingthe number of cars in my collection, so please see my other listing as well. I am not a dealer.
This is a very niceoriginal car that has been well cared for by the previous owners.I had plans to drive and show this car on a regular basis, but plans have changed. Just part of life. The first set of pictures are from the Tri-Five Display at the Forney Museum in Denver, CO The show was from Dec 2016 through February 2017. Thepictures thatfolloware additionalphotos taken in the sunlight/shade. I purchased this car from a gentleman in Maine last summer. He had acquired it from his friend who had it since the 90's. Its so hard to trace the history on these cars but I have an old Florida Title that came with the car (since Maine is non title state) that shows the previousstate was Texasand the dealership nameplate of Doran is still on the back of thetrunk and appears to have aged nicely. I researched and see there is a Doran Chevrolet in Dallas that has been around since the 40's but cannot confirm if its the same one. I have a clean CO Title in hand.

Details/Features:
This is a good running and driving car. The engine idles very well and makes good power. The transmission shifts smoothly. The tires are in good condition and have plenty of tread. You can tell someone took care of this one all of these years.
These 4 door hardtops are getting hard to find and this one has the Highly desirable Surf Green/India Ivory combination. This is not a 'perfect' point judge type of car, but it is a nice looking driver you can take to your local car shows and cruise ins. The doors open and shut very well with a nice "thud" and the windows go up and down as they should. The interior isall original andin nice condition for its age.Theonly sign of age is on the front bench seat where there is a tear where the driver sits. I chose to leave it to keep the integrity of being all original, but it wouldn't cost much to repair or replace.Paint and chrome are both older, but display nice.Doorjambs are very nice as I could not detect overspray. The engine bay and trunk aremodest. If you're looking for a good original, solid'57 that you can drive and enjoy, definitely give this car some consideration. The undercarriage is nice and clean. The previous owner told me its all original and except for the 1 repaint and that its never been restored because it hasn't needed it. He was right..
