Description

Up for auction is a freshly built 1947 Chevy 3100. Thisis all modernizedunderneath and inside plus it is fuel injected.This truck has about 2000 miles on it since it rolled out of the shop. Thisis a ton of fun to drive and gets attention everywhere you go.You can cruise at 90+ mph all day long in the fast lane.Truck rides very nice and handles like its on rails. Reserve is set lower then buy it now.

Engine/Transmission:

The engine is a rebuilt 5.3 with a nice Comp Cam big Mutha Thumper cam, comp cam roller lifters, hardened push rods, new GM lifter trays, LS9 valves and valve springs, and new felpro gasket set. The transmission is a freshened up 4L60E with a TCI 2400 stall converter. It has a Swap Specialties stand alone engine/trans harness.Aluminum radiator with electric fan wired to ecm. Headers to 2.5'' exhaust with dual 40 series flow master mufflers and tailpipes that dump after the rear end. Great sound with the cam.

Chassis/Suspension:

The truck is on a modern s10 chassis with disc brakes front and rear. This is static ride height with leaf springs in the rear and coils in the front. The wheels and tires are 20x8.5 in the front and 22x10.5 in the rear. The rear end is rebuilt with a posi 3:73 gear. All the front suspension is new including the gear box. Mounted under the floor of the bed is a 20 gallon aluminum fuel cell with a locking access door in the bed of the truck. New 3.5'' steel driveshaft with Moog sealed u-joints.

Interior:

As for the interior, it has been updated for comfort and drivability. The gauges are Dakota Digital silver face w/red backlights, Retro Sound Bluetooth radio, 3 speed heater, 2 speed 12V wiper assembly, Kenwood center dash speaker and Kenwood 4.5'' speakers in the kick panels. Also CPP chrome tilt steering column, Billet specialties steering wheel, Lokar billet gas pedal, key in the dash, black bomber style lap belts,New tinted glass and rubber seals, black carpet, black headlinerand Ostrich covered bench seat out of 90's Chevy truck.All the interior cranks, handles and accents are all new.

Exterior:

The tail lights and front running/turn signals are LED, halogen headlights all new stainless and chrome trim, door handles, wiper arms, emblems, mirror and misc. Someone has done lower patch panels on the cab corners, door bottoms, and gas filler hole on cab. Body has some rust holes in running boards and lower fenders. The body and all panels are secured nicely and it just has the right patina or aged look. The floor in the bed has been raised with a functioning wood floor.

I have all the receipts and tons of pictures that will go to the new owner. I have a clean and clear title for the truck.

There is a $2,000 deposit to be paid within 24 hours of the auction ending in a wire transfer or Paypal. The truck will need to be paid in full and picked up within 7 days of the auction ending.

The buyer is fully responsible for all shipping costs. I will assist with shipping to help them load it and get it tied down. I can also meet you at LAX airport with the truck if you want to fly in and drive it home. I just drove the truck out to Las Vegas and back.

The truck is for sale locally as well for 30K and it is being sold as is. I may be open to PARTIAL TRADES and cash for other classic cars or projects, newer Audi, BMW, Mercedes, lifted chevy, diesel, sand rail, trophy truck, prerunner, sports car or other interesting toys.
