1965 Chevy C10 Shortbox, Lowered, Restored, Fly in & drive home!
Description
Here is very nice, well built 1965 C10. If you are looking for a very nice driver that you could fly in and drive home, this is it. I bought this truck in North Carolina when I lived in MN and flew there and drove it home. I now live in AZ and I trailered it here from MN. I am selling this truck to move on to other projects, there isn't much left to do to this truck other than keep it clean and whatever new owners taste desires. The only thing that does not work on truck is the heat. There is a pinched oring at heater core connection in vintage air box under the dash. I have driven this truck over 4600 miles since owning it and it has never let me down. It sits on 18", 6 lug american racing wheels with 255/55/18 NEXEN ROADIAN tires. Front factory style disc and rear drum. Previous owner frame off restored this truck and replaced everything with new parts. Glass, chrome, brakes, interior, weatherstrip, LED tail & turn lights, bulb style headlights aluminum radiator, dolphin gauge panel etc.... I replaced rubber motor/trans mounts with urethane and upgraded the stock HEI distributor with an MSD-HEI. I recently tinted the windows to a legal 30% so if you look at last photo vs others you can see the difference.Truck has a mild hydraulic cam 355 with roller rockers, performer rpm, hooker coated headers, Serpentine drive, 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust with 40 series flowmaster mufflers.Sounds great and not too loud. Th350 trans with a shift kit, barks the tires into second if you're on the gas. 3.55 gears in factory rearend. All suspension bushings are new urethane, front and rear sway bars, body bushings are new rubber. Aluminum fuel tank under the bed with braided 1/2" line all the way to mechanical high volume pump. Truck is lowered with spindles/springs front & springs and 1 1/2" blocks rear. No C notch, does not hit frame. I replaced plugs and wires and added DEI insulators near headers to keep from having a meltdown in Az heat. I have a 180 degree high flow t-stat and drive the truck with the vintage air on when its 115 outside and it does not overheat ( has a high flow electric fan). Truck rides and drives/handles great and you can still get a standard jack under it if you need to change oil. Leather interior (Still smells new inside) with am/fm/cd/satellite radio. If you want more specific pictures or have questions please call or text Matt @ 612-987-7054.I am not selling a problem, this is a great truck that i have driven a lot, so bid with confidence. I have had several interested buyers with not enough money look at and drive truck and everyone of them said truck is worth what I am asking but didn't have enough $$.
