1963 Corvette convertible 327/300 4 speed ORIGINAL motor. EXCEPTIONAL body fit
Description
I purchased this car from an NCRS black hat judge. He had the car a couple years. The previous owner was an acquaintance of mine and member of our local NCCC Club. They purchased the car in 1969 when he was stationed at NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida. It was originally silver with black vinyl interior but was repainted red sometime prior to 1969. For almost 50 years old the paint is very very nice. The carpets, door panels and dash pads are original. The seats were recovered and the soft top was replaced sometime in the 80's. The seats still look great. The top needs a good cleaning. The block, heads, transmission, intake and exhaust manifolds are original and correct. The differential is date coded 1966. The car runs and drives excellent. Except for the clock, everything in the dash works just like it's supposed to. The frame is solid, straight and rust free. The best part of this car is the fitment of the hinged panels. The hood, doors, headlamp buckets and rear deck lid have exceptional fit, as do the bumpers and grille. This is a very nice, solid and correct midyear that you can drive and enjoy as is. Car is advertised locally for $48,500 obo. Please call Darren @ 515.202.7162 to arrange a look.
