Description

There is a lot of confusion when you try to validate the options on these Chevelle's and El Camino's… The research that I have done in this vehicle says that it is an El Camino custom, with the 400 Malibu package. The 400 Malibu package, is all the bells and whistles of an "SS", The primary difference is only front disc brakes. This El Camino has four wheel Power assisted drum brakes. These are the options I have found on the vehicle: production order numbers, are as follows: RPO ( j50) Power brakes, ( LS3) 402 cubic inch engin, (N33) Confort tilt whee, ( G80 , posi rear end ( U14 ) instrument panel special, includes tachomete, anmeter, temperature gauge, and Hi level ventilation. (D55) console shift .(D88 /ZL2 ) Cowl induction hood with pins; not original, induction components are missing .(Z15 ) SS equipment optio, (706), Bucket seat, ( C60 ) optional air conditioning, AC parts are missing. Please note that approx 85% of the Chrome will come with the vehicle ;some Trim parts will need to be located to complete the Restoration . All exterior lighting for the vehicle was removed by the prior owner, and disconnected. I reinstalled the front headlights with buckets but did not connect as there are wire repairs neede, to make the vehicle road worthy. The bumpers front and rear are not torqued completely, the nuts and bolts are snuged on. The reason for this is..., the depth and degree of the restoration effort will be different for each buyer . Some will want bumpers and lights out when painting the vehicle ; others may not. This vehicle is 45 plus years old, there are no warranties expressed or implied relating to the originality of these options, and equipment, many parts are changed over time, with normal repairs. Seller is not responsible for any parts or options that may have been change, or remove, that could affect originality . Vehicle is titled at current odometer reading of 18,408;Seller has no knowledge or makes no representations, as to whether or not existing odometer is in excess of its mechanical limits
