1981 Z28 Camaro.Black on Black. The sales brochure summed it up: "The Camaro Z/28 has sleek, crisp styling with show-stopping good looks, unmistakable zest for hugging the road and capturing the heart, and a flair for moving through life with style." Original Owner with 33K miles on original engine.I ordered this car new in 1981, took delivery in July 1981.It was my weekend car for many years, the only time that it was my daily driver was waiting for my 1991 Z28 to be delivered.I’m being relocated and the company will not relocate cars, so, I’m selling it now.I haven’t driven on the street very much in the last three years and that is why I’m selling it AS-IS.Known issues are radio (pioneer with quads in the back) isn’t connected, the dashboard is splitting (picture included), the deck behind the rear seats is peeling (Picture included), it has an oil leak when the engine is running, the Tach only works to 1,000 RPM, and the brakes need to be adjusted. This is a true Z-28 powered by a numbers matching 305CI V8 engine with a Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor and mated to The Borg Warner Super T-10manual transmission. Finished in it's original factory black color with silver Z-28 stripes and accented nicely with charcoal cloth interior. Comes equipped with T-Tops, power steering, power brakes, 3.42 rear end ratio and bucket seats. The car was reconditioned in 2007, new paint, stripes, headliner … The Super T-10 is stronger than even the famed Muncie M22 by design. The Borg Warner unit has larger bearings and more internal splines, plus it is much quieter and doesn't whine like the Muncie units.Ratios 1) 3.42; 2) 2.28; 3) 1.45; 4) 1 $500 PAYPAL DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END.
