1990 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z Convertible 2-Door 5.0L
Description
This is a great car! I've had somewhere around 20 Third Gen Camaros/IROC's in the last 5 years and this one is among the very best. It's 98% original. Nothing major has been replaced, changed or swapped out. Just the typical expendable stuff like belts and hoses etc. I was told that the 2nd owner kept it as a show car. I bought it from the 3rd owner who housed it indoors at all times. It is easy to tell that this car has not been exposed to the elements. It runs and drives excellent. Doesn't have the typical severe squeaks and rattles that Third Gen Camaros are know for. (It will squeak a tiny bit if you're driving on a really terrible road). The paint is really good but has an average amount of rock chips etc. No dents or dings anywhere on it. The interior is near flawless. All the switches and electronics work correctly. Tires have at least 50% tread left. Rear brakes and drums are brand new. Motor and transmission both work perfectly. The top is a high quality canvas (not crappy vinyl) and it goes up and down perfectly. I really can't think of any notable deficiencies in this car.
Engine is a 305 (5.0 liter) Tuner Port Injection and the transmission is the standard 4 speed automatic 700R.
If you are a CA purchaser you will need to have a catalytic converter re-installed and that will cost about $600 at most shops.
