Description

You are bidding on a 1986/1987 Chevy Dually one ton truck. (1987 frame with 1986 body) The truck started out life as a cab and chassis. It has a rebuilt 454 with less than 10,000 miles on it. At the time of the rebuild, the previous owner put the 3+3 body on the frame. It has a brand new Edelbrock carb. Brakes, tires, transmission all work as they should.
This truck runs great! The body is not all rusted out like a lot of them are. There are a few dings here and there, but nothing major and it is very presentable. The only thing the body needs is the headlight trim bezels. It doesn't affect the way the headlights work. I never got around to getting them. (very simple to put on, just a few screws)
The interior has a little wear, but all in all, is not in bad shape.
I put brand new smoked LED cab lights on. (needs one wire to hook them up) They look real good.
It has dual tanks. It needs the selector switch to be installed. I have the switch that will go with the truck. The gas gauge is not working, but will include a brand new gauge with the sale. The other gauges work and there is an aftermarket tach that works too.
Have clean title in my name and current registration. No liens.
The truck will haul anything you throw at it! It is like a tank! You can't even tell that the camper is on the back when driving it!
Onto the camper: It is a 1976 Mobile Traveler brand truck camper. It is very usable! Fully self contained. (shower, toilet, heater, oven/stove, fridge, kitchen and bathroom sink, water heater, A/C that blows cold). I was going to rewire the 12volt lighting on it. The AC is 110v and the fridge is 12v/110v. I have not tried it on 12v, but it cools down and the freezer inside freezes water quickly. Perfect to keep those beverages ice cold! One propane cylinder is included. Has 4 foldable camper jack stands and 2 cranks.
Roof has been sealed. It has a 12v water pump for when you are camping away from amenities. Has a black water tank. Brand new LED taillights and started replacing the clearance lights with LED's. (Have all the back ones installed and the front ones are included. They are easy to install.)
There is a foam mattress that is included. I have a brand new mattress cover to put over it. I was planning on throwing a couple comforters over the foam mattress to give it some bulk and make it more comfortable.
This is the perfect time for this setup! Perfect to travel, camp and when you get home, you have a great truck to use.
It really pains me to have to give this rig up, but health forces the sale and can no longer do the things I had planned.
I would not hesitate driving this anywhere.
There will be a $200 non-refundable deposit that will need to be made within 24 hours. The rest will need to be paid in cash when it is picked up. It is located in Lakota, ND. (about an hour west of Grand Forks, ND or 25 min east of Devils Lake, ND).
I am hoping that someone gets to use this like I intended.
Please, do not bid if you do not intend on completing the purchase. I have had problems with this in the past. Keep in mind, your bid is a binding contract.
The deposit MUST be paid within 24 hours! NO EXCEPTIONS! If the deposit is not paid within 24 hours, a non paying bidder claim will be reported to eBay. This is the second time that I have had to relist this because of nonpaying bidders. PLEASE do not waste my time or yours. If you do not have any intentions on completing the auction, DO NOT BID! Ask questions BEFORE bidding. All of the information about the truck is contained in the above description.
This is a great rig that I really don't want to get rid of, but am forced to due to health reasons. It is ready to go and you can drive it anywhere. I am hoping that it goes to someone who can appreciate it and use it as I had planned.
Good luck bidding!
