1968 Chevrolet Impala SS Sport Coupe
Description
We have a beautiful 1968 Impala up for grabs. SS Trim, built up ZZ427 from a Corvette (legendary ZZ427/480) L88, has Edelbrock 454/427 big block intake manifold, Holley Carb, B&M Shift Setup, previous restoration and build out of California. Has working air conditioning. Was built and done for a Sacramento Kings basketball player, who is now retired. Interior is in great shape. The restoration was done a few years back and the car has been driven lightly. There is a full custom stereo with amps mounted in the back with a custom subwoofer and amplifier enclosure. There are also custom kick panels up front with speakers mounted in them. Alpine CD player hidden in dash/glove box to keep the nostalgic look of the original radio. The dash/cluster was replaced with a Nordskog Digital setup. The current mileage on the dash is 4,649. This is not original mileage, but mileage since restoration. Suspension was recently replaced (ball joints, bushings, tie rods, etc.) and recent alignment was completed. The car drives flawlessly down the road. Also installed is a very clean set of period correct rallye wheels, not reproductions. Wheels were from a 1968 Corvette.
Transmission is a Turbo 400 that was completely gone through by previous owner and has a basic shift kit in it with the previously mentioned B&M shifter. Rear end is a 373 posi that has a new carrier and was also gone through at the same time as transmission with new bearings and seals in the rear end.
The Impala has electronic cut-outs installed on the exhaust as well. The pictures do a lot of talking, but really don't do it justice! Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, it is available to be viewed Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. Other times may be available by appointment, vehicle is stored indoors during non-business hours. It is being sold through a Registered Wisconsin Used Car Dealer, so tax, title, registration, and service fee of $109 will be additional.
