Description

Up for sale is my 1962 Belair two door sport coupe, or better known as a "Bubble Top".It's the real thing as the 37 in the vin shows. Not a clone like some listings. There were very few Bubble Tops made in 62 and they were only available in the Belair. Recent top to bottom, bumper to bumper, extensive off frame restoration. The underside looks as good as the top side, very clean and detailed. Very solid rust free car. This is about as close as you can get to a brand new 62 Belair. Comes with disc brakes up front for better braking with all new stainless brake lines. HEI ignition for reliability and better performance. Suspension is all new, shocks, bushings, ball joints, rod ends etc.Vin shows it to be an original V8 car. 409 motor is correct 62 QB code 068 casting block, with correct 690 heads, 881 intake and solid lift cam. All internals are new. Large aluminum radiator for cooling. A new clutch and pressure plate turn the rebuilt correct 62 date code T10 four speed. The exhaust is 2.5 inch flow masters from the manifolds all the way back. Paint and body are excellent with the correct blue it was born with. Interior is new and correct by Cidella and still has that new car smell.. Car has factory padded dash and is radio delete. California one piece bumpers front and rear. Fuel system is new, tank, sending unit,3/8 lines and pump. Car sits on four new radials. You are welcome to come look before you bid. The car runs and drives like new. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere but it is 55 years old so no warranty, as is where is. A $500 non refundable PayPal deposit is due at auction close with balance in certified funds within three days. Someone will get a super nice car. Good luck, and thanks for looking.
