1977 Chevrolet Silverado short bed auto V8 350 automatic C10
Description
Up for auction is this 1977 Chevrolet Silverado shortbed pickup. I am selling it for the second owner who can no longer drive it. It's been stored away for about the last six years. These are great trucks for either a restoration or a daily driver. You can't beat the classic lines on these trucks. Overall it appears to be in good shape for its age. It has an automatic transmission with a 350 engine and it shifts fine when driven. The engine is not original and the owner said it was a crate but it is unknown how many miles are on it. It does have light smoke upon startup but idles fine. It is a Silverado package and it looks like it has A/C and everything appears to be in place, however it does not turn on when you turn the controls. The speedometer and water temp gauge also appear to be not working. I couldn't find any rust underneath other than light surface rust. The body is intact with the exception of the passenger door. The owner told me that the first owner had it fixed after somebody bumped into it and it does show signs of body work along with some bubbling rust on the lower corner part of the door. It's got the normal wear and tear on the paint, which is to be expected since this was used as a daily driver. The interior is also in very good shape as you can see in the pictures. It even has a trailer hitch and a chrome rear bumper. I'll be glad to provide more pictures of anything else you would like to see. This is a very nice truck that was not abused by it's previous owners and it would be a great addition to any garage. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. This vehicle is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied and a non-refundable deposit is expected within three days of auction end. Thank you for looking.
