Description

1946 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck powered by 1968 Chevelle 250 6 cylinder with 390 CFM 4 Barrel. New aluminum radiator. Truck runs cool, no smoke, purrs like a kitten. High energy ignition system. 200 R4 Automatic Transmission with overdrive. Camaro open rear with cruising gears. Clifford research intake manifold with dual exhaust headers and running w cherry bomb mufflers to give it that nice purr. Mustang 2 front end kit that rides so smooth. Power steering disc brakes. This truck turns and stops on a dime. I've had the truck up to 80 miles an hour. All the gauges ligh, and the factory optional country and city horns. Directionals work perfect as the truck was rewiredto 12 Volt, it has glassbluedot tail lenses. Also has AM, FM, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Sirius Radio. GPS, Maps, Weather and hands free phone calls. Hasinside dome lights. This truck has an extremely upgraded comfortable seat, new glove box. All locks work with keys. New windshield and frame, re-built windshield crank opens and closes with ease. 1955 Chevy outside visor with traffic light prism mounted to the dashboard. New hot rod heater and defroster that will roast you out of the cab. Newport wiper system that work great in the pouring rain. New seatbelts, radial tires less than a year old, 15 inch rims with the 1956 Chevy Hubcaps. The Pontiac Emblem on the front lights up when the headlights are on. Gas tank has been boiled out and sealed. Correct driver side and passenger side rear view mirrors. The body is a true, real original patina. None of the fake stuff. The body as you can see has less than normal bangs and bruises. Some tears in the fenders have been welded and I had fender brackets added underneath. I didn't want to clear this truck, I simply sprayed WD40 on it once a year, and in the garage it goes at night. Originally a Kansas Truck out of Coffeyville. I use this truck every day. I recently put 240 miles on it during a road trip from Long Island, New York to Sturbridge, Massachusetts. This truck rides and drives smooth, and has the get up and go when you need it and with overdrive it makes the gas go further. This truck comes complete with spare tire bracket and later model tire jack mounted on the running board for easy access. Spare tool box on the side. This truck is an absolute head turner wherever we go. Truly a survivor from a by gone era of America's Heartland.
