Description

This car started life as a 1951 Chevy Fleetline. I bought it 6 years ago as an original car without a motor or transmission. It took 2 years to build and we completed it 3 years ago. The car had the normal dings and dents of a 66 year old untouched car. There was a hole is the right rear quarter the size of a 50 cent piece that was under the rear stone guard. It also had 2 rust holes in the floor that we cut out and welded new patch panels in. We removed the car from the frame and media blasted the frame and body. All the dents were straightened. I personally did all the tear down, blasting, mechanical and electrical work. The body and paint was done by a professional body man. The interior was done professionally also.
Everything is new: EZ wiring harness, Dolphin gauges, new glass and weatherstripping, Mustang II front suspension with power disc brakes. dropped spindles, narrowed A arms, Eaton lowered rear springs, QA1 dual adjustable rear shocks and new gas tank. GM tilt steering column with the dimmer switch on the floor. Rebuilt 700R4 transmission that had 0 miles on it when we installed it in the car. 350 Chevy crate motor that had 20K on it when we put it in the car. The motor has a polished aluminum intake manifold, finned aluminum valve covers, new Summit 4 bbl carb, aluminum radiator. Under the dash AC and heat. AM FM radio that is hidden in the glove compartment. New Cragar Bonneville wheels, 15" in the front and 17" in the rear with 5K on the tires.
Lots of body modifications. The front fenders, hood and grill are from a 1950 Chevy. The hood was welded together to make it a 1 piece hood and then we put louvers it. Grill was re-chromed. Front bumper is a new 1 piece bumper. The headlights are from a 55 Olds. The windshield is a 1 piece Oldsmobile windshield. The dash is from a 56 Ford. The rear quarter trim is from a 52 Chevy. Rear tail lights are 55 Cadillac and the left rear tail light opens to put in the gas. Rear bumper is a re-chromed 55 Pontiac. The drip rail was hammered down and extended. Door handles are shaved off and there are door solenoids with remotes open them up. The car is nosed and decked. Body is very straight, paint work is excellent. Great interior.
Car runs and drives great. We have put on 14,000 miles since it was completed. Just got back from the KKOA show in Salina, KS a couple of weeks ago where it received a Top 25 Award. Drove it to Branson, MO a couple of years ago.
The car looks awesome. People can't decide if it's a Chevy or a Cadillac. All the body modifications look like the car came from the factory this way. Car is sold as - is. Please ask questions before bidding.
