Offered this listing - this 1979 Chevy C-10 Short Box has a wonderful "well aged" patina and would make a perfect basis for an LS powered rat rod.

This truck came out of a Copart auctionand I don't know its history. I purchased it to build but have other projects that are taking priority.

Odometer reads 51K plus. Runs decently. Has an engine miss at stoplights with foot on brake but idles in park OK. I've driven it a couple hundred miles (back and forth to my shop) and it runs along quite well (with no miss). Handles nicely. ( horn does not work - turn signals work but you have to hold the lever in position)

Tennessee truck, shows some holes on exterior body panels but nothing like a northern truck. Rockers and door bottoms are solid. Cab floors Rt and Lft are rusted through. LMC has replacement panels under $50 each.

Looks like new tires and exhaust were installed not that long ago. Battery and oil filter look recent too. New LFT FRT brake caliper.

Interior is cooked. Dash pad badly cracked. Plastic interior components (door panels etc..) are crumbling.
