Description

1955 Chevy 3100 1st series factory hydra matic. Truck drives out great with brand new bias look radial tires, total brake job, new shocks, and freshly serviced trans. Truck has no rust/ none, California truck it's whole life. Engine runs very strong and has the Corvette head (used with auto trans trucks) Engine date is Feb. 18 1954. As pics show, this is a nearly finished project that is totally drivable. Speedo, gauge cluster, glovebox all included. Needs minor wiring and blinker wires are all in place for blinker device of your choice. Ready for bed of your choice. Ask all the questions you probably have by emailing me or calling Larry about anytime @ 307 431 3023. My true love of the bigger trucks is reason for selling, need room!!!!! Also have correct heater. Lights, horn work. Hate typing, so let's just talk. I reserve the right to end auction at any time. New auto choke carb, fuel pump, starter, water pump. Replaced differential pinion seal. Glass is all perfect with new weather strip in doors. Mirrors are correct and in the correct locations. Wipers work. The engine and tranny pair, with all the correct hydra matic linkage is tough to find. Has been correctly converted to 12 V.

As you can see from the V.I.N., this truck was assembled in the Los Angeles plant. Keep in mind that true 1955 1st series trucks were only made for 3 mo. In case you don't know how to read this V.I.N. the last 6 #'s are the build sequence #'s. These started with 1001, so you see it is a low # on this truck. It only makes sense though as there were not that many built in a 3 mo. time. THEN, you put the factory hydra matic trans in it, and there were even fewer of those built.
