This amazing 1962 Chevrolet Long Box custom lowrider has been completely stripped to bare metal and refinished. A great deal of attention was paid to the engine bay, as you will notice by its smooth appearance and all new wiring. Additionally, the engine bay is boasting a brand-new 290 horsepower SBC350, backed by a 7-year / 100,000 mile warranty. You’ll also find tons of chrome beneath the hood, from the added power steering to the chrome water pump. Fueling the engine is a Carter AFB competition series 650 cfm 4-barrel carburetor. The new mechanical fuel pump remains intact and an electric pump has been added for additional reassurance. The engine is backed by a TH350 automatic transmission built with a shift kit and a 3200 stall converter. Shifting is made even more fun with a Super Star floor-mounted shifter. In the cab, you will notice chrome sill plates, power windows, spanking-new Dolphin gauges, and fresh upholstery in subtle gray and white tones. The stereo is very cleanly installed (along with kick panels), with 6 x 9 speakers behind the seat. A power antenna cleverly fills the space previously occupied by the gas gap, as the gas tank accessibility has been hidden behind the rear license plate, adding yet ANOTHER extra to this ride. This awesome truck is riding on brand-new Camaro tires with 20x10 custom chrome rims that keep this beauty low to the ground with the help of So Cal lowering suspension. The dual flowmaster exhaust couples to the chrome headers and out the back net to the rear-mounted Camaro gas tank. A brand-new, gorgeous oak bed inlayed with polished steel rails is nestled at the bottom of the truck bed among color-matched Raptor bedliner, adding increased durability. The tailgate has been seam-welded into the roll pan and wrapped with LED taillights, giving a streamlined custom appearance. Subtle, custom striping matching the steel-gray of the interior ties everything together to complete this masterpiece. TONS OF CUSTOM ADD-ONS, including: mild cam, power brakes, electric fan, Edelbrock RPM Intake, stainless hardware.
