Description

* Bumper fillers- Excellent* Dash- Excellent. Chevelles always are cracked in 2 or more places. Always cracked where speaker is but this one is perfect.* Exterior door trim. Excellent* Chrome- Excellent. Shiny & straight* Interior- Perfect with 2 small exceptions. One cigarette burn, small crack in plastic part of interior door panel. very nice. Headliner is tight and very good-excellent. Package tray has a few scratches. Should be easy to fix with a red crayon.* Glass- appears to be all original & excellent except one small, out of the way area on lower right hand corner of windshield which has some scratches but are barely noticeable. Just cosmetic and hardly worth mentioning.* Original working am radio. There is a 1970's Audiovox FM radio see in pics that was added but does not appear to work* A/C works- It never worked but I had it repaired in 2016 but runs on one fan speed. I purchased the fan relay as was recommended. I never replaced the old one and now lost the new one but can be bought easily for about $25-30. A/C works "ok" and heating is excellent.*Front passenger side needs new seat belt(shoulder)* Always used non-ethanol gas with 91 octane or better.* Registration, insurance & inspection(through 4/2018) up to date as always in New York State.* I have clean and clear title to the car.* Adjustable steering column. Really great thing to have on these cars
I purchased the car off Ebay in 2012. It was in North Ft. Myers, FL and I took a leap of faith and purchased just based on a few not so good pics from the owner, took a chance and was happily surprised the car was so good. According to the previous owner he purchased the car in 1993 from the original owner who had turned age 90 and was not fit to drive anymore. They were next door neighbors and he purchased the car with over 45,000 miles on it then put less than 2,000 miles on it all the 19 years he had it until selling it to me. This is his story & it's quite believable considering the amazing original condition it's in. He only sold it to me because he had to give up his extra parking space to his new lady friend moving in to their retirement village in Florida.
All these things lead credence that car mileage is original. Approx 48,880 currently.Original 14" rims with matching set of tires, original working am radio, working A/C. Original set of floormats. Carpet is great everywhere except driver side which is just a bit worn.Tranny is 3 speed column shift automatic. Shifts gear nice and smooth.Only modifications: Weiand intake, 4 barrel Edelbrock carb., Dual Flowmaster exhausts.Car sounds incredible, is surprisingly fast and drives straight and smooth. Brakes & Transmission are excellent. Good set of tires with plenty of tread. I would call this muscle cruiser and it beats a Laguna in my opinion.
One repaint c.1993 due to fade. Paint is in very good shape. There is some chipping near the hood. I honestly cannot find any dings on the car and we all know they are hard to see in photos. I preserved the car every winter from the beginning by sealing the car in a car bag and using desiccant packs. I will include my car cover, bag and desiccant packs. About a $400 value. Go to carbag dot com for more details.
This is the last of my small collection I sold off. The car with the least value but my favorite. If you have more questions just ring me or email back. Thanks. 51eight-225-77one sixP.S. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. If you have under 10 feedbacks then you'd better contact me first or I reserve the right to cancel your bid. I take this very seriously so don't buy the car and claim your dog hit the 'buy it now" button. I have been on ebay a long time and have a great record and worked hard over the years to keep it that way. I am honest to a fault and will use any legal means to enforce my rights if you refuse to go ahead with a commitment to purchase. The car does not come with a warranty. No car is perfect and there's nothing I could think of that I left out but I am not perfect and sometimes forget details. This is a car you can just turn the key and drive. I am not a dealer. If you're serious you should first see it in person or send a mechanic. Shipping is your responsibility totally but I will reasonably accommodate your shipper. Assuming payment is on time, I will hold the car for up to an additional 10 days but after that I will have to place it in storage and you'd have to reimburse me for all costs before I release the car. Miles listed on odometer likely to increase with test drives.I need to also point out that I have 3 of the 4 "dog dish" hubcaps. I thought I had the 4th one and still may locate it but it's possible I had it on the car and it came off while driving it.
