1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Base Coupe 2-Door 5.0L
Description
This is a one-owner car that has been sitting in a shed/garage for a few years. It has 63,889 miles on it. It was lady driven from the time it was purchased new until she passed away in 2005. It has been mostly sitting since that time. The plastic piece behind the rear license plate is broken and needs to be replaced. There is a small dent in the passenger front fender. Paint is original and shows normal signs of aging and would likely need to be redone for it to look really sharp. it has some door dings. the plastic "chrome" bumper trim around the front has been removed and the same trim on the rear is not in good shape. the trim pieces on the sides have been removed from both sides and it shows on the paint that it used to be there. The car has been cleaned and waxed since taking it out of the shed/garage where it was stored. the interior is in good shape. the radio may be an aftermarket but don't know for sure. The trim piece across the front of the headliner is loose. I think the engine is a 305 based on research of the serial number but not certain-it is a V8. There is no rust anywhere that I can find. This is a really solid car for fixing up.
