1970 Chevy C10 pickup Longhorn Stepside
Description
You are bidding on a pretty decent 1970 Chevy C-10 Longhorn Stepside Pickup. I'm told it has a 327 V-8 2-barrel, 3 speed manual on the floor, with power steering and power brakes. It is in good condition, with minimal rust (see pictures). The bed has typical rust on the bed floor seams (see pictures). I also have more pics of the underside upon request. It runs and drives as one would expect---like an old truck. I would assume the engine is not numbers matching, as Chevy didn't offer a 327 in 1970. Please let me know if you have any questions about the engine.
As you can see, the interior isn't too bad (it has a seat cover over the bench seat, and it needs to be recovered. The dash needs a new dash pad (it's missing), but the headliner is in good condition. The passenger door is tough to open from the outside, but I guess that's to be expected on a 48 year old truck.
The truck is being sold with a Bill of Sale and tag receipt/registration only. In Georgia, the state will not issue a title for a vehicle this old. However, it was inspected by a police officer to verify the VIN number and the paperwork is 100% legal in this state and ownership can be transferred. Please check your state's laws to verify; sometimes other jurisdictions won't take the paperwork that Georgia offers.
Please text or call Dane at 770.349.9787 with any questions or if you need more pictures. The vehicle is for sale locally (I am selling off my old car collection) and I reserve the right to end the auction early. PLEASE only bid if you intend on consummating the deal. Please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. I can help store the truck once PAID IN FULL. I can also assist in getting the truck shipped. Thanks again, and happy bidding!
