True Rally Red, Numbers Matching 427/425hp Roadster. This incredible corvette pedigree car, underwent an extensive frame off restoration in 2011 and has had very few miles since. According to the window sticker Hawkins-Harp Chevrolet in Booneville, Arkansas sold the car new and was built at the St Louis plant in November of 1965 with the following features: Rally Red exterior with standard black interior and top, 425 horsepower Turbojet 427 cubic inch engine, 4-speed Heavy Duty Close ratio transmission, heavy duty posi-traction rear axle, special suspension, power steering, am/fm stereo, tinted glass and originally had corvette wheel covers and poly-glass bias ply tires. The car is currently rolling on a brand new Turbine style bolt on wheels and redline tires and looks amazing and sounds even better with new side exhaust. The car retains the original trim tags with correct rivets, The engine is date code correct with the correct HIGH PERF on the back of the block, correct suffix code and the pad stamp also appears to be correct and authentic with consistent stamping and original broach marks. The heavy duty transmission also retains the correct stamp.
