1968 Chevrolet Camaro 60907 Miles Red Convertible 396 V8 Automatic
Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible for purchase. The 1st generation Camaro is the car that never goes out of style and has inspired GM to redesign new Camaro's after these legendary road kings. 1968 was the 2nd year of the Camaro and is known as the model to own by many collectors. GM launched the Camaro on an all-new platform in the pony car market along with the Pontiac Firebird in a response to the surprisingly high sales of the Ford Mustang. GM hit ...their own homerun with the "F-body" platform and sales quickly took off. This '68 Camaro is a wonderful example of the muscle car legends. It has been completely restored. This radical convertible features a healthy 396 v8 mated to a TH400 automatic console shift transmission. It features a Holley 4 barrel carburetor with braided steel fuel lines. It also has a polished aluminum intake. The ignition and spark is distributed by a MSD system and has an MSD Blaster coil. The engine was given a chrome dress up kit and presents well. The car also has as a cowl hood. This car runs and handles as it should and it is equipped with power brakes and power steering. Although the Camaro is not numbers matching and did not come from the factory with the SS package this highly restored classic can hang with the best of them. The car features Hooker headers and dual exhaust. The braking system was upgraded and given front and rear disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The Camaro rides on 17 inch Cragar wheels. It is also equipped with Bilstein shocks. This Camaro is dressed in coat of red and presents very well. The chrome and bright work glisten in the sun. The black convertible top and black interior show well also. This car runs great and is ready for the next owner! Please call or email for more details!
