This 1966 Corvair 500 sedan came from anearby farm where it had been since1972.It has not run in 40 years. It is mechanically complete and intact. The engine does not turn by hand.
It has the 4 carburetor 140 horsepower engine with a 4 speed manual. The differential is the open type.
The floor is shot due to the original rubber floor cover. The rocker panels are good. The front bench seatvinyl is also ruined. The back seat lower part has a hole in it but the backrest is good. The headliner is ruined.
The windshield is tinted and the door glass is all good. The back window was broken out. I removed the sealant and the frame is good.
The front trunk area is in good shape as is the area where the trunk lid hinges attach to the body. It also comes with the lower rear valence panel.
It has the original 13 inch factory wheels with hubcaps and full size spare plus original jack etc.
The tires hold air and it rolls easily.
