Description

You are looking at one of the most interesting real-deal 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sports you might ever see. It has a few interesting enhancements on the exterior, but how this car resisted change inside will makes people really take notice. This coupe is striking from the first moment you lay eyes on it. So you know that there has been some serious investment the paint. It is a very rich maroon, almost blood red, and it benefits from a level of clearcoat that allows you grab attention from the other side of the show field. It also doesn't hurt that the chrome bumpers and bright rocker panels seem to shine like mirrors. But there's going to be one extra element that people will love and won't even know why...but we do. You couldn't get 17-inch rally wheels from Chevy, but these specialty pieces take the iconic appearance and give it a subtlety aggressive upgrade as they fill the wheel wells. Even without all the glitz, you'll want this Camaro because it gets all the fundamentals right. The doors shut with confidence, the gaps are uniform, and the special RS electric headlight doors work nicely.Inside appears to be highly original, and much of it is a rare sight today. For example, the few Camaros that came with them had their bench seat changed out for buckets during the decades before these were appreciated for being practical, original, and rare. That would have been a shame because, as you can see, the code 767 custom front bench seat is actually a very fashionable setup. It has the cool white accent package, strato-back comfort, and when you don't need a person in the middle, there's a nice fold down armrest. So it's a cool, comfortable setup that we don't see often today. The last one didn't last in our showroom long! The same goes for the column-mounted automatic transmission. It's so honest in its originality that people cannot help but stare. This one really does have all the best factory accessories from the original RS steering wheel, to the factory air conditioning that was recently serviced so it still keeps you cool today! Despite all this originality, we were able to spot two subtle and handy upgrades. You get the added info of a set of auxiliary gauges, and the extra entertainment and versatility of an AM/FM/cassette radio with digital tuner (but it's knob-style appearance almost make it look original.) Under the hood is Chevrolet's trusty and powerful 350 cubic-inch V8. It's dressed nicely with the correct Chevy orange paint on the block, as well as the bright air cleaner and valve covers. No outrageous add-ons or overzealous stickers, it's just a good looking powerplant with tidy belts and hoses the hallmark of well-maintained motor meant for driving. And that's what this classic Camaro is all about. The V8 fires up with ease, and the glasspack style dual exhaust gives off a nice muscle car rumble. Plus, with the three-speed automatic and power steering, roadtrips are a breeze. So you can easily hop in, crank up the A/C, and show off your bold red Camaro around town. This is an amazing Camaro. It has all the right features to be the most unique car in the show. Plus you'll always arrive with a smile on your face, because this is the kind of classic that makes the journey more fun than the destination. Call now!!
