Rare options include, factory tinted glass, original born with 265 power pack with over drive 3 speed trans, power seat, all factory chrome accessories with fender birds, bumper guards, wire wheels, radial wide white tires, fender skirts and more. This car runs, shifts and drives like a brand new car. This beautiful Chevy is spotless rust free from new 1956. This body in laser straight on every panel. This car is 100% #’s matching. You can drive this car anywhere with confidence. The motor runs like a Swiss watch with no smoke and runs cool all day in 95 degree weather. I have had over 25 1955-1957 Chevy convertibles over the last 50years and this one is the finest I have ever owned. Drives down the road nice and quiet with no rattles or shakes. All windows roll up and down with ease. Top also goes up and down with ease. If you are looking for one of the best 1956 Chevy convertibles in rare black color you just found it!!! Check out the original under carriage and original dated stamped motor suffix 265 GE with over drive and factory 1956 datednumbers as seen in the pictures. I truly love this car and hate to sell it. A wonderful history documented. I also have original NOS mint set of four 1956 hub caps and original 1956 valve covers included with the purchase. All lights and gauges, horn, radio all work as new. You can shift this car with one finger as I can demonstrate on your test drive at my home. I have a clear Title with no headaches. Truly one of the best off frame restored low mileage 1956 convertibles you will ever find with all these rare options. This car has only been driven just over 7000 miles since rotisserie off frame restoration.This is my private collector car from my personal collection in heated garage climate controlled storage.
